本文就我院自1980年1月至1984年4月间所施行的100例70岁以上老年人手术详细分析了老年外科的特点,重点讨论了手术前和手术后并发症的治疗及手术方式的选择。如果外科医生积极仔细地处理术前及术后并发症,急诊和择期手术在高龄病人同样应会获得满意的疗效。本文提示:高龄并非有碍于外科治疗。

A total of 100 patients over 70 years of age were operated in our hospital from January 1980 to April 1984. This paper thoroughly describes the characteristics in geronto-surgery, and especially discusses the treatment of the pre-operative and post-operative complications and the selectiou of the operation methods. If a surgeon energetically and carefully treats the complications during the pre-operative and post-operative periods, satisfying resnlts will be obtained in both selective and emergent surgeries in old age. This paper points out: old age is not a barrier to surgical treatment.
